Insight Global is looking for an Junior level UX/UI Designer to join the Digital Experience team for one of our Large Automotive OEMs in Dearborn MI (position can sit remote). Our ideal candidate will use their strong Digital UX/UI experience to produce next-generation vehicle cockpit digital experiences for end users. Some additional responsibilities will include producing project details, product requirements, user journeys and technical constraints into a cohesive whole. You will also be responsible for:
Visually expressing the company’s brand vision and definition through user interface design for in-vehicle experiences
Apply a keen sensibility around layout, color, typography and behavior in expressing design executions
Exhibit passion for emerging technologies, new interaction models, product design, and excellence in visual design
Execute UX vision utilizing motion and prototypes as a primary means of delivery
Ability to balance work within a fluid creative design environment and with tight timelines & engineering frameworks
Coordinate interface solutions with Program Managers and Product Managers for specific assignments
Utilize software skills in latest versions of Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision Cloud, Invision DSM and UX prototyping tools
Qualifications:
– An online portfolio to showcase previous work and projects
– 3+ yrs of UX/UI Product Design experience in the digital space (websites, mobile applications, in-vehicle etc)
– Some motion graphics experience preferred
– Some 3D Design experience preferred
– Experience with prototyping and design tools such as: Protopie, Invision, Flinto, Framer, HTML/CSS, After Affects
– Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
