Full-time Product Designer

at Canon Digital Services in London

At Canon Digital Services we look after a suite of Canon products and services. Irista is a cloud storage tool for photographers, allowing them to organise and share their photos. Lifecake provides parents with a place to share their children’s photos and videos with loved ones. The most recent product to join the line up is the Companion App, which helps users to get the most out of their new Canon camera with tailored, easy-to-follow instructional guides, exercises and videos.

We are looking for a Product Designer to take the lead on the Companion App. You’ll be working closely with the iOS, Android engineers and the product owner to develop the product into something users can really benefit from. This is a great opportunity to help shape a product from it’s early stages. We need to think about how to make the app a constant source of interest to existing or potential Canon users, as well as define the high level purpose of the product and discover how it can be of the most help to users.

Ideally you’ll be able to lead projects from information gathering stages to working in sprints with the engineering team to see the designs through to build.
