Full-time UX Designer

at Ragnar in Salt Lake City

Position Summary: As a UX Designer you will lead the design and user experience of all Ragnar technical products including:
website, mobile app, ecommerce site, and registration system. You will be responsible for strategically thinking through all
stages of the design process and executing with great attention to detail. You’ll work hand-in-hand with developers,
product managers, and executive stakeholders to create a simple user experiences across mobile and web products that
our runners enjoy and improves the customer journey.

Essential functions and responsibilities:
 Translate user needs and product requirements into usable web interfaces
 Create wireframes and prototypes
 Ensure a consistent user experience across all Ragnar products
 Take a data-driven approach to influence your visual and interaction design decisions
 Collaborate with internal stakeholders, product managers, and developers throughout the entire product lifecycle
 Help lead user research and A/B testing

Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree or higher required
 2-3 years of UX Design experience
 A passion for user-centered design and innovation
 Experience creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Sketch, Invision, and Adobe Creative Suite
 Experience with Usability testing
 Understanding of user research and usability testing techniques
 Working knowledge of front-end technologies including: HTML, CSS, Javascript and Bootstrap
 Experience with Angular or REST services and JSON a plus
 Experience designing mobile and responsive products
 Ability to work independently, as well as on teams, in an agile environment
 Experience establishing and maintaining style guides
