Full-time Junior Visual Designer

at ClickTime in San Francisco

Hi, we’re ClickTime! We're in the timesheet business, and let's face it: Nobody likes filling in timesheets - so our job is to make the experience more pleasant, intuitive, and easy to learn for thousands of customers worldwide.

Our office is in the heart of the financial district in downtown San Francisco with great food and coffee just steps away. We provide big company benefits while maintaining the size and energy of a startup. Working with us means you’ll be challenged, surrounded by high quality teammates, and pushed to learn and expand within your space.

A motivated and creative visual designer that wants to grow within the UI/UX field. As our first full-time junior designer, your key responsibilities will be to own anything front-end related and to support our Lead UI/UX Designer in a wide variety of work (feature requests, new products, and beyond). You’ll be part of our product team and work directly with our Lead UI/UX Designer.

- Working with product to help develop out feature requests. You have the ability to grow a basic design and create additional flows, edge cases, and interactions based on product requirements
- Quick iterations on designs with high quality, production-ready deliverables. You will be expected to follow teammates’ ideas and and execute all necessary visual design stages
- Creating interactive prototypes and visual assets needed for feature requests
- Maintaining and expanding on design standards across our existing products including getting your hands dirty with some HTML/CSS work

- 1-2+ years experience in a similar role
- A strong portfolio of product designs not just showing the end product, but how you got there
- Experience creating UX deliverables in Photoshop or equivalent tools
- A strong command of HTML/CSS
- Excellent visual design skills and the ability to differentiate between a website and web application
- Experience creating visual assets and wireframes that effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Bachelors Degree, preferably in a design-related field, or equivalent professional experience

Bonus if you have...
- Familiarity with prototyping software such as Axure
- Experience working on mobile and/or web applications

Competitive salary, profit-sharing (did we mention we're profitable?), medical/dental/vision, health savings account, subsidized transit, 401(k) with matching, unlimited coffee, and a company-provided computer set-up.
